Where to find your key

After purchase, you get an email with your license key.

Subject line: Your Git AutoReview [Plan] License Key

Key format

Example:

GAR-DEV-A1B2C3D4-E5F6G7H8

Prefixes by plan:

• GAR-DEV- Developer

• GAR-TEA- Team

No email after 5 minutes? Check spam folder.

Open Extension Settings

Navigate to Git AutoReview settings in VS Code

30 sec

Command palette (fastest)

Press Cmd+Shift+P (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows/Linux)

Type Git AutoReview: Open Settings

Press Enter

Activity bar

Click the Git AutoReview icon in the sidebar

Click the gear icon

VS Code settings

Open Settings (Cmd+,)

Search Git AutoReview

Find the License Key field

Enter & Activate

Paste your license key and activate

30 sec

Steps

Find the License Key input field

Paste your key: GAR-XXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX

Click Activate

Wait for confirmation

After activation

You see:

• "License activated successfully" message

• Your plan name (Developer/Team)

• Updated limits in the sidebar

Done. Your paid plan is now active.

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive the email

Check your spam/junk folder. If still missing, contact support@gitautoreview.com with your Whop order email.

"Invalid license key" error

Make sure you copied the entire key including the GAR- prefix. Keys are case-sensitive.

"License already in use" error

Each license is bound to one VS Code installation. Contact support to reset your license binding.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Visit whop.com/gitautoreview to upgrade. Your new license key will be emailed to you.
